And please remember we're here for you whenever you need us...
Last December my parents bought their first new car since I was 11 and it's pretty snazzy. It's one of those new Buick Lucernes.
My parents, E & I went to Toys R Us Monday night to shop for our Christmas Angel and the line was pretty long. Dad & I took E back to the car while mom waited to pay. We didn't see any reason to make her get in her car seat until mom came so we let her roam in the car.
Well, before we could stop her she had pushed the On-Star Emergency button....not just the call up for information or unlock your car kind of stuff - the actual emergency button. Dad and I frantically tried to turn it off, but nothing worked and here came the friendly voice.
Of course I was mortified, I'm so sorry, my 2 year old pushed the button. We don't have an emergency. She was so nice about it and didn't send the cops to our GPS location!
At least we know it works!
ps - she's also figured out how to plug and unplug the Christmas tree and that is going to be nothing but trouble!
