nearing the end

Wedesday night was my last, last class! I've finished all the coursework required for my PhD!

That's a darn good feeling!

And, today is my last day at work...another very good feeling!

I don't have as easy access to the internet at home as I do here though, so I might be absent from the blog world a little longer than I would like, but I'll try to post some pictures as soon as I can.

4/26 here we come!

It took her 36 weeks but...

She finally asked if I'm having my tubes tied.

I knew she would, I just didn't know when.

She said something along the lines of "it will be easy for them to tie your tubes since they're already in there won't it?". So, technically, she didn't asked - she assumed I was having it done.

I should have just said "yeah", but no, I didn't. When will I learn, you ask...Never, I respond.

I said that I hadn't discussed it with anybody.

And the next words out of her mouth were "Or do you want another one?". It's hard to immitate the tone in text but let's just say that it was somewhere between sacrasm, dread, judgement and the thought that me having the first two was already a horrid decision.

Anyway, I know that won't be the end of that conversation....

And for all you curious minds in cyberspace, no, neither Beak nor I are doing anything permanent to our reproductive organs. We don't plan to have a third but neither of us knows what the future holds so cutting and chopping just didn't seem called for yet.

uterus update - had my 36 week check last Thursday, no dialation, still only have gained 20 lbs, hoping I'll make it to 4/26....
